Does your resume follow current acceptable practices?

We’ve talked a lot about how much job hunting has changed over the last several years, thanks largely to LinkedIn and the availability of automated tracking systems (ATS). Here is a great outside source for things you should STOP DOING on your resume right now. While there are always exceptions to every situation, this is very good general advice to bring your resume up to contemporary standards, and is a good reminder of why it may be wise to invest in the services of a professional resume writer.

Some of these things like an outdated email address, formatting, font, or personal details will telegraph your age and may cause subtle (or not so subtle) age discrimination. You do not want to look out of touch!
